You won't find me suggesting traditional behavioural-based approaches that use a reinforcement-type model to achieve compliance.
Instead, I believe that children are hardwired for love and connection and they want to do right by us. If yelling and time-outs aren't working, or rewards charts have lost their sparkle, I'll show you another way.
Intentional responsive parenting principles have guided my own lived experience of being a mom. Through years of therapy, formal education, & my own introspection, I can't help but bubble over with excitement at the chance to pass onto you the tools and strategies I've picked up along my journey through parenthood.

I believe as parents, we all want the best for our children. But I also know that things aren’t always as straightforward as we’re led to believe. Each parent and child are unique, and sometimes friction occurs as a result. But you don’t have to get burned by it! I meet you where you’re at in your parenting, and you do the same with your child.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Masters degree with a specialty in child behaviour & development. I am also a Certified Sleep Consultant, and I have spent the last 20+ years working with children and their parents. I’ve seen many hurdles in parent/child relationships, and have seen the incredible positive changes that occur with a few tweaks. I want this for you too!
I work very hard to ensure that you feel absolutely safe in sharing your struggles with me. I'm here to provide concrete advice in a way that is hopeful, tangible, and free of judgement. I know the last thing you need when being vulnerable are feelings of guilt or shame. I get it, nobody wants that.
As a bereaved mom and toddler mama, I'm no stranger to the ups and downs of parenting. I know that so many things are out of your hands, even when you’ve done everything you can. I have nothing but compassion for other parents going through a tough time, but I also know you don’t have to stay in a state of defeat. I bring educated answers for hurdles revolving around behaviour, sleep, anxiety, big feelings, discipline, and all the difficulties that can pop up with young kids. This matters because you don’t have to keep trying to survive the stage, hoping they outgrow it. You get to address it and enjoy them again.
